About Us

We promise, we will comport ourselves in a manner worthy of a position of public trust.  We wont shade the truth, we don't sensor it, and if it's not real we won't report it.  We promise to report the news honestly, thoroughly, accurately, fairly, and forthrightly.  We are not interested in making head lines, what we are interested in is providing the news that you can trust and have faith in.  We will let the facts, photographic, video, and/or audio recording evidence speak for its self.  We will speak, write, produce, and publish the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

We will always uphold and defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  We won't use our positions as a journalists to abuse our positions or accept bribes whatsoever.  We will be stoutly independent and will not bow to threats or coercion, even under Color of Law.  If confronted by authorities who are not knowledgeable or disdainful of our Constitutional Rights, then we will politely inform or remind them of our rights, and then press on with the news-gathering and reporting.

We will be unmoved by pride or greed of power.  We will be constructive but never careless, self-controlled, patient, and always respectful of our readers, but always unafraid.  We will be quickly indignant at injustice and un-swayed by the appeal of the privilege or the clamor of the mob.  We will strive to avoid inaccuracies, carelessness, bias, or distortions.  We will not knowingly introduce false information into material intended for publication or broadcast; nor will we alter a photo or video content, unless its for cartons or parody reasons.  Our quotations must be accurate and precise.  We will always strive to identify all the sources of our information, shielding them with anonymity, if they request it, and when they provide vital information – not opinion or speculation; when we know the source is knowledgeable and reliable.

We will not plagiarize, but we will share stories as media does.  We will also give credit where credit is due, attributing quotes prominently.  We will not pander or bow to party politics, pressure groups, agenda pushers, conspiratorial cabals, statist lackeys, censors, fake fact checkers, or those who seek to hatefully divide us.  We will avoid behavior that compromises our ability to report the news fairly and accurately, uninfluenced by any person or action.  We will not misidentify or misrepresent ourselves to get a story.  When we seek out an interview, we will identify ourselves as a journalist.

Peer Reviewed Politics™ will not pay or accept money or any tangible item whatsoever from government officials, news makers, celebrities, or others for interviews in order to take their photographs, to film or record them or report news that we can not verify or peer review.  Our jobs requires us to stay neutral, be objective, and not speculate or promote any unsubstantiated gossip, rumors, or urban folklore, while always being mindful that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.  Peer Reviewed Politics™ has an opinion page, that will contain commentary from those entities that subscribe to the principles of real journalism.  We will be fair.  When mistakes are made, they will be corrected, and addressed as being corrected on our website – fully, quickly and ungrudgingly.

What We Are About:

We are citizens of the United States of America who have decided to partake in protecting our country from the censorship that is being conducted by Facebook, Google, Main Stream Media, and other High Tech Corporations and websites who are trying to silence yours and our free speech.  It's imperative that if our media can no longer provide the truth to the public, then 'We the People' will need to 'someone' to step up and fill that void of the press, and that's where we and others like us come in to fill that void.

Thomas Jefferson stated, "No experiment can be more interesting than that we are now trying, and which we trust will end in establishing the fact, that man may be governed by reason and truth."  "Our first object should therefore be, to leave open to him all the avenues to truth."  "The most effectual hitherto found, is the freedom of the press."

Former President Thomas Jefferson continued to state, "I am...for freedom of the press, and against all violations of the Constitution to silence by force and not by reason the complaints or criticisms, just or unjust, of our citizens against the conduct of their agents."

We at Peer Reviewed Politics™ believe as citizens of the United States that we all have a duty to be the checks and balances on our government in order to prevent the overthrow our nation by those that would try to pervert our founding documents and laws.  Remember, our politicians and government employees have taken an oath to protect the Constitution in order to serve, so if they're trying to subvert or pervert the rights established for the people, which are established by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, then those folks should be removed from office at once.  We as citizens have civil duties to remove such tyrants immediately, so they can not damage our Republic and hurt others.
